The Polish Museum of America, 984 N Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL, proudly presents a Reproducing piano (pianola) concert given by Rex Lawson, founder of the Pianola Institute in London, England.
The concert, comprised of piano rolls recorded during a concert given on a reproducing piano by Polish composer and pianist Ignacy Jan Paderewski (1860-1941), was given on Sunday May 16th in the Great Hall of the Museum, beginning at 2 pm. The concert was dedicated to the memory of the late Polish President Lech and First Lady Maria Kaczynski, and the Polish delegation who perished in the April 10th plane crash in Smolensk, Russia.
